You’ve tried everything to make this relationship work—tips from all the podcasts, self-help books, and Psychology Today articles you could find. But nothing is working. You put on a happy face for everyone else, stuff your emotions, and bottle up your pain. The fear of snapping—breaking down in tears at work or saying something you’ll regret later—looms over you. All you want to do is hide. You barely recognize yourself in the mirror anymore.
The turmoil doesn’t just stay at home; it invades every part of your life. Work used to be your refuge, but now, sleepless nights filled with doubts and negative thoughts have left you an exhausted shell of your former self. You pray your boss doesn’t notice, fearing the troubles at home might cost you your career. The relationship has already stolen so much—your joy, your social life, your dreams for the future. You’re tired of pretending, tired of feeling this way, and you know you need a change.

Welcome to my practice. I am a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate providing therapy in Texas with a fervent commitment to empowering veterans, first responders, and their families to fortify their mental resilience. My academic journey began at Texas Tech University, where I obtained a bachelor's degree in Health, Exercise, and Sport Sciences with an emphasis in Biomechanics. After embarking on a career in this field, I realized that I enjoyed talking with my patients more than hurting them during the rehabilitation of their injuries. I then pursued a master's degree in Military Family Therapy from Northcentral University, equipping me with specialized skills to address unique challenges.
Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Systemic Leadership from National University, further honing my expertise in providing comprehensive support.
Congratulations on taking the initial step towards enhancing your mental well-being with counseling in Texas. In the face of any struggle, I offer a compassionate ear, unwavering support, and practical skill-building. My approach is rooted in solutions, focusing on your strengths and enabling you to triumph over challenges. Together, let's reinforce your mental armor and embrace a brighter, more resilient future.

Marriage Counseling in Texas can range between $100 -$300 per session depending on where you live and the qualifications of the therapist or counselor.
I have been working with couples for over 5 years. The couples that I have worked with online see similar results as those that I have worked with in person. Online couples also benefit from increased accessibility due to not having to commute to sessions.
No, Texas does not require counseling; however, giving counseling a chance will help you and your spouse to either save your marriage or know that you tried everything to make it work before proceeding with the divorce.
LPC and LMFT are two different master degree designations that are defined by their approach to working with clients. LPC stands for Licensed Professional Counselor. LPC treat mental health issues that may arise from a variety of different causes. LMFT stands for Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. LMFTs (like me) also treat mental health issues that may arise from a variety of different causes; however our training utilizes more of a relational view point called systems theory. We use this point of view to leverage the power of relationships to help our clients heal whether we are working with an individual, a couple or a whole family.

I am currently a private-pay, out-of-network provider. While I don't accept insurance directly, your insurance plan may have out-of-network benefits, which means that they will reimburse you for a portion of our session cost.
I have partnered with Thrizer to handle the out-of-network process automatically for you. With Thrizer, you will only have to pay a copay for our sessions, instead of paying my full fee and waiting for reimbursements. This typically allows clients to save on average 70% upfront on our sessions.
During our intake process, I can help you verify if you have out-of-network benefits and how much your copay would be.
You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" (GFE) explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a GFE for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like intake assessments and therapy services.
Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a GFE in writing at least 1 business day before your medical services or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a GFE before you schedule an item or service.
You can dispute the bill if you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your GFE.
Make sure you save a copy or picture of your GFE.
For many services, like counseling and therapy, the GFE is easily calculated by multiplying the session cost agreed to in the Informed Consent by the number of weeks in a year.
